Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has paid tribute to sacked manager Claudio Ranieri.
The English champions sacked Ranieri on Thursday.
"I would like to thank Claudio for everything he's done for Leicester City Football Club, and for me personally," the goalkeeper wrote on Instagram.
"He deserves massive respect and huge credit for what he achieved here with us. Thanks boss."
Schmeichel is understood to be one of the players to have expressed concerns over Ranieri, with the Dane previously branding the club's title defence "embarrassing" and saying everyone at the club must work harder when asked specifically about Ranieri.
