LEICESTER to ask Schneiderlin as part of Drinkwater move

Published on: 25 September 2016

Leicester City would ask for Morgan Schneiderlin if the Red Devils placed a bid to sign Danny Drinkwater when the transfer market window reopens in January, according to the Sunday People.

The England international is said to be interested in a move back to Old Trafford after starting his career with Manchester United, but the Foxes are still confident they can keep him put at the King Power Stadium strengthened by his contract extension until June 2021.

Also manager Claudio Ranieri has confirmed there's not a buy-out clause in Drinkwater's contract, while Manchester United flop Schneiderlin has not started a Premier League game this season so far.
