Liberty Professionals have appointed George Lamptey as their new head coach.

Lamptey replaces JE Sarpong who was relieved of his post last week after leading the club to an eighth place finish.

He was in-charge of the Scientific Soccer Lads two seasons ago before Sarpong was brought in to rescue their season.

Lamptey will be assisted by former Zamalek and Al Ahly striker Felix Aboagye.

The club have also confirmed Sellas Tetteh remain as Technical Director of the team.
