Liberty Professionals captain Michael Helegbe has cast doubt over his future at the club by telling GHANAsoccernet.com he needs to move.

AshGold have officially written to Liberty expressing interest in signing Michael Helegbe and James Abban.

But Helegbe admits he would relish a move to join the 'Miners' if both sides are able to reach a deal.

"There have been lots of offers both home and abroad which AshGold is one. About leaving Liberty to join AshGold, I feel as a player, I need to move on,” the former Guingamp player told GHANAsoccernet.com

" If the right offer is made, why not? I will move."

"Yes, the young players here and my colleagues look up to me and want me to stay but what can I do, I will have to seek a new challenge," he added.
