Liberty Professionals captain Samuel Sarfo has dismissed claims that his service work affected his performance in his side's miraculous escape from relegation.

Sarfo featured for the scientific soccer lads as they escaped relegation from the country's top-tier on the final day of the Premier League.

Many have claimed combing security work and football affected his focus.

But he has denied the claims.

"It's never true that my police service work did affect my game outings in the just ended league season. You could clearly see that I was very vibrant for my side throughout the league campaign," the 23-year-old lanky enforcer told Kumasi-based Silver FM.

"I did my possible best to help my club by putting in much energy in playing our game matches. So for people to be saying or thinking that  I was having a divided attention whilst playing in our matches is something I'll not budge as I'm satisfied with our output as well."
