Liberty Professionals coach Michael Osei is relieved to have helped the club avoid relegation following their 2-1 win over Asante Kotoko on the final day of the Ghana League on Sunday.
The Dansoman-based outfit avoided the threat of relegation from the top flight division as goals second half goals from Samuel Sarfo and Samuel Annan were enough to win them the game after going down to Baba Mahama's early minute opener.
According to the club's trainer, their determination to remain in the league prompted their remarkable reaction against the Porcupine Warriors.
“I want to congratulate my guys because they have done a very good job, they were very disciplined and determined to stay in the league as I also wanted, so am very delighted we survived."
“Liberty Professionals is smaller club compared to Kotoko, but Kotoko is one of the biggest team, you always have to develop players rather than to buy them, but the boys were good listeners of my tactical instructions, ” Osei said in an interview.
