Liberty Professionals goalkeeper Daniel Agyei has dismissed claims he traveled to the Netherlands to undergo trials.
The 26-year-old has returned from the European country to rejoin Liberty for the start of their pre-season activities.
Agyei spent several weeks in Holland following the end of the 2014/15 Premier League season.
The 2009 U20 World Cup winner says he was in Holland to attend to his heavily pregnant wife and not to undergo trials as widely speculated.
“I didn’t go to Holland for trials,” he told Happy FM.
“I was there to be with my wife during the latter part of her pregnancy.
“The season had ended here in Ghana so I was with her in the delivery of my baby girl but while there I was keeping fit with a club there but I must stress it wasn’t trials.”
