Liberty pipped Edubiase in Accra

Liberty Professionals restored their winning run after beating New Edubiase United 1-0 in their Matchday 9 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday. 

Michael Appiah hit his fourth goal of the season at assume leadership of the goal-king chart after finishing a beautiful one-two combination with Daniel Kodie.

Liberty had just come off their 2-0 defeat against Hearts of Oak at the same venue while Edubiase were coming from their 2-0 win over Heart of Lions in midweek.

Liberty's new-found attacking combination between Kodie and Appiah yielded fruits as they scored as early as the sixth minute with Michael Appiah grabbing his fourth goal of the season.
