Liberty Professionals trainer Ignatius Osei Fosu laments missed chances caused their 1-0 narrow loss to AshantiGold on Wednesday.

The young gaffer believes his side deserved at least a point from the game but wasted the opportunities to earn it.

"In football, if you don't take your chances, it comes back to hunt you. We had decent chances in the first half which we could have equalized and even go ahead and win," Fosu said in the post-match interview.

"Football is football, is either you win, draw or lose. If you win, you are happy. If you draw at away, you are happy. If you lose, you learn from it

"It's only bad that we haven't picked at least a point at away this season which we felt were going to win this time. It's only sad we couldn't win."

The Scientific Soccer Lads will play host to reigning champions Wa All Stars on Saturday.
