Liberty Professionals forward Kennedy Ashia will join Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko at the end of the season, according to reports in the local media.

The 19-year-old has been on the radar of the Porcupine Warriors but they missed out on the chance to sign him last August as he joined Norwegian side FK Brann on a short-term loan.

Kotoko have renewed their interest in the attacker who notched 15 goals last season and have entered into discussions with Liberty officials.

Ashia, a member of the 2013 FIFA U20 Ghana World Cup squad, has scored three times since he rejoined Liberty after the expiration of his loan contract with Brann.

Kotoko, who look set to qualify for continental football next season want to boost their strikeforce with the capturing of the goal-getter.
