Liberty Professionals have adopted the Accra Sports Stadium as their ground for the new Ghana Premier League.

This was after the Premier League Board inspection team failed to approve the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park in Dansoman due to the poor state of the pitch.

Liberty will be sharing the use of the pitch with Hearts of Oak.

The Scientific Soccer Lads will host Wa All Stars when the league starts on 15 September.

"Yes we have been told that we cannot use the Park as our home venue,''  Liberty assistant coach Felix Aboagye laments.

"It is sad because that is where we have been playing our home matches for a long time, but what can we do?

"Our people did not start the re-grassing of the pitch on time, but we hope that they will do it on time for us.

"We have prepared for the season and any eventualities so we will use the Accra Sports Stadium as our home venue until they finish work on our pitch for us."
