Liberty Professionals President Felix Ansong has confirmed sought-after talisman Latif Blessing will stay at the club for the upcoming season.

Blessing is wanted by clubs both home and abroad after emerging top scorer in the Ghana Premier League with 17 goals.

Last week, the club were reported to have put a US$ 200,000 price tag on the diminutive playmaker after Hearts of Oak enquired about his availability.

''Finally the club have decided not to cash in on Latif and he will stay for one more year as things stand now,'' Ansong told the Graphic Sports.

''He currently has a three-year contract with the club and we expect him to stay and play for another more year.''
