Liberty Professionals recorded a slim 2-1 win over Bechem United to continue their surge in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.Â
Former Ghana youth striker Tamimu Muntari put the Scientific Soccer Lads ahead in the 19th minute with a signature left foot drive from just outside of the box.
Bechem tried to draw on level terms before the break but Felix Aboagye's men upped their ante after break and topped up through Gafaru Samed.
Paul Manu snatched a consolation goal for Bechem who had already consigned themselves to defeat with a dispirited performance.
