Liberty star Latif Blessing seeking to gatecrash Black Stars squad ahead of Egypt cracker

Liberty Professionals winger Latif Blessing insists he has enough quality to represent Ghana at the international level.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season at the club, where he scored 17 goals to emerge the country's top-flight goal king.

The hugely rated wideman has been overlooked by Black Stars coach Avram Grant despite his breathtaking displays in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Several fans have craved for the inclusion of the talented winger into the squad ahead of the remaining matches in the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign as well as the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon in January next year.

But there are those who feel he must be introduce into the team steadily to avoid crushing his dream.

But the Kotoko target insists he has enough quality to play for the Black Stars.

"I am ready to play for the Black Stars. I can play. If I get the chance, I can prove myself," he said on Adom FM's Fire for Fire show

"I am more than capable of playing for the national team.

"I remain hopeful that I will get a chance with the team to prove myself.

"But at the end of the day, it will be of the decision of the coach and the technical men."

Blessing hugely rated in Ghana after his explosive season with the scientific soccer lads.
