Liberty Professionals assistant coach Felix Aboagye believes the club will find suitable replacements for the massive departures from their first team.

The Ghana Premier League side have lost in excess of five key players from their team to foreign teams.

Players such as Kwame Boahen, Alfred Nelson and Kennedy Ashia have joined the exodus bandwagon.

While captain and Black Stars goalkeeper Daniel Agyei has also joined South African club Free State Stars.

Youngster Geraldo Selorm has also signed for Libyan giants Al Ahli – leaving the Dansoman-based side bare to the bones weeks to the start of the Ghanaian top flight.

But assistant coach Aboagye is confident the side will live uo to its billing of finding suitable replacements for key departures from the club.

“Liberty is noted for producing good players over the years,” he told Metro FM.

“It is true we have lost a lot of our players but it also presents us with the opportunity to introduce the young talents coming through.

“Geraldo Selorm for instance is going to Libya while Alfred Nelson is also going to South Africa.

“These player with the likes of Daniel Agyei, Kennedy Ashia and Kwame Boahen are all leaving.

“But I believe we have what it takes to find adequate replacements.”
