Liberty Professionals coach J.E Sarpong is confident his side can 'walk over' Aduana Stars in their Premier League meeting on Sunday.

Liberty’s preparation in the off-season was dealt a massive morale-inflicting blow following the death of president Alhaji Sly Tetteh last month.

But after failing to go pass the Group stage in the novelty GHALCA G8 competition, officials insists they have recovered from the shocking demise of their owner.

Sarpong says they are primed for the busy schedule this term and will kill off the challenge of the former champions at the newly named Sly Tetteh Stadium.

"The team has put what happened behind us and we are ready for the big challenge this season. By God grace, I believe we'll walk over them," he told GHANAsocernet.com

"We have massive respect for Aduana especially with what they managed to achieve two seasons ago.

"Victory in opening games are always important for team confidence."
