Liberty Professionals midfielder Latif Ata Blessing has denied media reports he has vowed never to play for Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak.

According to the talented winger, his comment was quoted out of context insisting that the two clubs are the dream teams of every young Ghanaian player.

"One journalist misquoted me with a story about Kotoko some time ago that I said I will never play for either Kotoko or Hearts. I told him for now am too small for both teams because I don’t want any trouble for myself like what Toric Jibril went through," Blessing told GHANASoccernet.com

"The next day it's all over in the media that I said will never play for both teams.

"Because of that issue, I have been warned never to grant interview to any media man again even if I win the man of the match."

Blessing who was made a ball boy when he went to Kotoko is now the sensation of the Dansoman-based club with explicit performances which has seen him win multiple Man of the Match awards.

The 18-year old added that the two clubs are the target of every player in the country and that it will be detrimental for him to have said that he will never play for either Kotoko or Hearts.

"Every player dreams of playing for either Kotoko or Hearts. So how come I will say I won't olay for them? It is never true that I said that", he concluded.
