Libya coach Javier Clemente says his side will not be over-confident ahead of their second Group C match against Ghana on Friday.

The North Africans outplayed Ethiopia in their opener and recorded a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Elmutasem Abushnaf and Abdel Salam Omar.

"It was a tactical game and we had to vary our playing system twice to achieve the result we got,’’ the Spaniard said after his side’s win over Ethiopia.

"I am pleased with how we performed with this young side against a very good side in Ethiopia.

"I rate this team the strongest in the group but that does not mean we will relax now that we have beaten them.

"Our preparation is for Ghana next and we will approach that match with same determination and attitude to that we had tonight."

Libya are on top of the table with superior goal and can confirm their ticket to the quarter-final if they beat Ghana.
