New Ashantigold signing Saddick Adams is likely to leave the miners before the end of the season following reports that clubs from Libya are tracking the forward.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong popularly known as "Champion", despite signing the forward, there are clubs in Libya who want the services of the former Athletico Madrid youth star.

"I don't think bringing Adams to Ashgold should be a problem. He is a good player and I still believe he has a lot to offer but it's unfortunate that things have got this way.

"We have recruited him but it is possible he will not be here for long because a Libyan club has written to him seeking his services," he told Graphic Sports.

The 27 year old joined the miners last week after terminating his contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko having helped the club win the MTN FA Cup last season.

Adams finished last season as Kotoko's top scorer but has struggled with injuries this term playing only once in the campaign.
