Heart of Lions coach Yusif Abubakar has charged his players not to ‘relax’ despite beating Hearts of Oak in the GHALCA Top 4 opener.

The Kpando-based club secured a famous 1-0 in over the Phobians in the first leg of the semi final tie at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Samuel Yeboah’s 14th minute penalty was just enough to see the visitors clinch the first leg advantage.

Lions were however dominated in possession and chances with a combination of poor finishing and bad luck frustrating Hearts’ efforts.

Coach Abubakar concedes the job is only half done and wants his players to keep up the hard work ahead of the return encounter on Wednesday.

“We are not going to relax at all, we are not going to be complacent. We have to work very hard before Wednesday’s game,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“We are not through yet even though we won. They [Hearts] played well and therefore if we relax, they will beat us in the second leg on Wednesday.”
