Liverpool legend Ian Rush has said that Joe Allen should move away from Anfield this summer if he is unhappy with sitting on the bench.
Allen has made just three league starts since Jurgen Klopp took over in November and Rush believes the 26-year-old will not be satisfied to simply sit on the bench and pick up his paycheck.
'Joe’s frustrated by not being in the team,' said Rush.
'I’ve seen a lot of players who are happy on the bench, but the thing with Joe Allen is he’s not happy doing that.'
'If he’s not happy then he might well want to move on,' Rush added.
