Liverpool and Lovren revisit contract negotiations

Published on: 30 March 2017

Liverpool have reopened contract extension talks with Dejan Lovren, according to reports from the Daily Telegraph.

Lovren joined Liverpool from Southampton back in 2014 for around £20million and following a tough start to life at Anfield, the Croatian international has managed to establish himself as a key figure for the Reds.

Lovern's deal at Liverpool is set to expire in 2019 and reports have claimed that the Reds hierarchy is set to re-open talks with the defender regarding a contract extension after negotiations had stalled last year.
