Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits his side have to be at their very best to get a win over Swansea City in their Premier League clash on Sunday.

The Swans travel to Anfield in the late kickoff game with an underwhelming record of just one win in their last 10 matches.

Garry Monk’s side made a brighter start to the season than Liverpool, securing headline wins like the epic 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

The side’s new arrivals, in particular, Andre Ayew have also made an instant impact to the quality group of players put together by the Welsh club.

But recent results suggest Swansea are going into the game against Liverpool very low on confidence.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is however taking nothing for granted as he wants his team to remain sharp to put away the quality Swansea side to continue with their resurgence.

“Swansea play very exciting, attacking football and have excellent players,” Klopp noted.

“All of this means that we have to be at our very best if we want to get another good result and improve our league position.

“Swansea have already proved this season that they can beat any team in this league.”
