Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he's in regular contact with Mario Gotze.
Gotze has been forced to step aside at Borussia Dortmund due to health problems - with no date set for the midfielder's return.
Klopp is close to Gotze thanks to their time together at BVB and admits he's spoken to the World Cup winner since the announcement.
He stated on Friday: "I have contact with many of my former players. In a situation like this, of course, we exchange messages.
"We talk about such things."
