Liverpool face massive bill to beat German duo to Chelsea striker Solanke

The race for off contract Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke is heating up.

The Sunday Mirror says Bundesliga surprise package RB Leipzig have become the latest side to declare an interest in Solanke.

The German club have joined Liverpool and Bayern Munich in their pursuit of the Blues front man.

Solanke is out of contract at the end of the season - and has so far failed to come to an agreement over a new deal.

The Premier League side will be keen for Solanke not to join Leipzig, as they would not be able to claim compensation.

Instead they would only receive £350,000 - which the Germans see as stunning value.

If Solanke was to join the Reds, or another English outfit, Antonio Conte would be likely to command an £8m fee.
