Liverpool and Manchester United have been alerted to Mats Hummels' situation at Borussia Dortmund.
The Sunday Mirror says Hummels was only a substitute for Borussia Dortmund in their Bundesliga clash at home to Stuttgart yesterday.
The Germany international is interesting Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, with the pair having worked together during their time at Signal Iduna Park.
Hummels is also a favourite of United manager Louis van Gaal, who worked with him at Bayern Munich.
