The FC crew preview the Liverpool-Chelsea clash at Anfield that sees the Reds as favourites according to the SPI.
LIVERPOOL -- Jurgen Klopp says he does not have to lift his players after Liverpool's mid-week collapse at Sevilla, insisting "we are not in kindergarten."
Liverpool threw away a three-goal lead on Tuesday in Spain to draw 3-3 and missed out on the chance to secure qualification into the Champions League round of 16.
Klopp's side return to action on Saturday evening when they take on Chelsea at Anfield, with the Liverpool manager clear his team now need to move on.
"I'm not sure we have to lift them," Klopp told a news conference on Friday afternoon. "We are not in kindergarten where we have to lift [players] for everything.
"We have to talk about the things. Yes, we made mistakes and we were passive. In a lot of situations we were deep as a group and we didn't play football anymore. That's all true.
"That's how it is with games and the result is only one [piece of] information. We have much more information from a game. We made the analysis, but it will be a difficult game against Chelsea."
Alberto Moreno has been heavily criticised for an error-strewn, second-half performance against his former club.
He made two errors that contributed to Sevilla's first two goals before being replaced by James Milner.
Moreno first gave away a free kick prior to Sevilla's first goal and then committed a foul in the penalty area, with Wissam ben Yedder netting his second of the night when he converted the resulting spot-kick.
On Friday, Klopp was adamant he still had faith in Moreno and took responsibility for the situation the 25-year-old found himself in.
"I had a talk, of course, to Alberto and I am really happy about his shape, I am really happy about his performances," Klopp added.
"Yes, I know in this game it was obviously [not his best] and that's then really my responsibility. I could have done different things and obviously it was difficult in Seville with all the circumstances -- everyone was talking to him like talking to him like a family member. He left there but a lot of people are still there who he knows well.
"[If you lose] one, two or three percent of concentration and come a little bit too late and that's how it started. My response would have been to think about the line-up or change or change earlier or whatever. It's not the player to blame, I am 100 percent responsible for that.
"I told him I still trust him 100 percent, so for me the game is over. How you concede the goals is not important anymore after the game, only for the analysis but not for anything else.
"We know how we came into the situations and that's what we have to change."
Meanwhile, Klopp said Emre Can is a doubt for the weekend's game with a muscular problem, while Adam Lallana and Joel Matip are in contention for a return.
"Emre struggles a little bit," Klopp said. "A strange situation in the game, a little muscle [issue]. It could be close -- he is a doubt, let me say it like this.
"Adam is on his way, no doubt about that. We have to see how we will handle this in the next few days and weeks. Joel trained yesterday for the first time with the team and, again, we have to to see as well.
"But both give good signs -- nothing else to say about that in the moment."
