Local Black Stars arrive in South Africa for COSAFA Cup

Ghana’s squad arrived in South Africa early Friday morning for the 2015 COSAFA Cup.

The Local Black Stars were quickly bused to Rustenburg where they will be based for the tournament.

Ghana will face the winner from Group B- which contains Lesotho, Madagascar, Swaziland and Tanzania- at the quarter-final stage on 24 May.

Maxwell Konadu picked a strong squad including senior team players like Fatawu Dauda and Stephen Adams.

Leading Ghana Premier League scorer Nathaniel Asamoah and former Maritzburg United striker Yakubu Mohammed made the cut.
