Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has no doubts about his side’s capabilities of beating DR Congo to reach the semi-final of the African Nations Championship.

Konadu’s troops have been unimpressive despite topping Group C with seven points after beating Congo, Ethiopia and drawing with Libya.

The Local Black Stars are seeking to avenge the 2-0 defeat suffered to the Leopards in the final of the maiden edition of the tournament in 2009 Ivory Coast.

Ghana will be bolstered by the return of Yahaya Mohammed, who was suspended for their last match against Ethiopia.

Konadu claims his players have hit top form and ready to scale over the DR Congo hurdle.

“This team can beat DR Congo as we’ve worked hard to improve our tactical play,” Konadu is quoted by 90 Minutes.

“The team is gelling at the right time and hopefully we will carry our momentum into game to help us qualify for the semis.”
