Medeama midfielder Kwasi Donsou has revealed that talks are ongoing between his club and troubled Accra Hearts of Oak for a possible transfer ahead of the league next season.

The enterprising box-to-box midfielder who had a difficult season with Mauves in the just ended season by scoring just a goal in over 23 appearances is determined to exit the Tarkwa-based club.

Donsu in an interview with Kumasi-based Fox FM revealed that Accra Hearts of Oak have opened talks with Medeama for a possible move.

"One of our club officials (James Assilfie) called me on Tuesday to inform me about the interest from Accra Hearts of Oak. But as of now, everything is in the hands of Medeama, if the offer is okay for them, am open to anything,” Kwasi Donsu told FOX FM.

He added: “Personally I want to move from Medeama this season for any contract that is better, either local or abroad.”

Kwasi Donsu who had an excellent season in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League by scoring 15 goals in 26 appearances struggled to catch up with his previous performance this season.

The former FA Cup Best Player is believed to have been traumatised by his failure to land a deal outside after a stupendous season last year despite several trials.

Many local pundits have however tipped him to relaunch his career at Hearts if the move eventually materialise.
