Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris will be hoping to be among the goals when his Lorient side takes on Niort on Monday night.

The Ghanaian has been named in the team to play at home after making his bow against Le Havre just before the international break.

Coach Mickael Landreau has revealed he has been impressed with the Ghanaian’s work output and is hoping that his form will be transferred into games.

“Waris is an option for Monday, I feel it, it is very nice in the work, it is good to have on our side." The coach said

The 24-year-old was a transfer target for English Premier League side Burnley but the deal fell through at the last minute.
