Ghanaian forward Latif Blessing scored his debut goal for Los Angeles FC in their 4-4 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps in a pre-season friendly at the UCLA on Sunday evening.

Carlos Vela put Los Angeles ahead with a beautiful free kick before a brace from Anthony Brondell and a 38th minute strike from Yordy Reyna ended the first half in a 3-1 victory in favor of Whitecaps.

Blessing started the second half on a good note, scoring immediately after the restart to bring LAFC to within a goal, but Reyna scored his second in the 52nd minute to make it 4-2.

A 78th minute penalty kick which was neatly converted by Carlos Vela and an own goal from Benny Feilhaber ended the match in a eight-goal thriller.

The draw was Los Angeles' third friendly draw of their pre-season.

The former Liberty Professionals forward lasted for the entire duration of the match.
