Lukaku opens door to Mourinho reunion amid Man Utd interest

Everton's Romelu Lukaku admits he could be swayed to again play under Jose Mourinho.

The Belgian striker struggled under Mourinho at Chelsea with the Portuguese at one stage suggesting the player was not motivated enough to make it at the top level.

22-year-old Lukaku has since gone on to become one of the most promising forwards in England following loan spells with West Bromwich Albion and the Toffees, before moving permanently to Goodison Park in 2014.

With Mourinho being heavily linked with the Manchester United job, and Lukaku's name also being bandied around Old Trafford, the talented attacker has opened the door to a possible reunion with the Special One which would not come with any hesitation.

"Some people will say that I need to convince him but it's not a question of that," Lukaku told La Derniere Heure.

"Three years ago I was 20 and I wasn't ready to be immediately effective in a top team.

"Several good seasons, including the current one, have changed the situation. I'll be 23 (in May) and I could leave this summer."
