Asked by Liverpool Echo about rumours linking him again to an Everton move, Pascal Yvars, agent of 24-year old Algerian international attacking midfielder/winger Rachid Ghezzal, currently on a deal with Olympique Lyon until June 2017, stated: "Everton made us an offer in the summer, a very good one money-wise, but we were not fully convinced of a change on the sporting side. And we always have to look at what is best for his footballing development.
We'll see what's going on with Everton in January and February. At the time, Rachid is probably willing to stay focused on his campaign at Lyon, and we dont' want to make a mistake several players made before him. Winter transfers can be risky".
