Al Ain are reaping rom the sale of jerseys of Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan after his an auctioned shirt was bought at US$ 1,400.
The 28-year-old has picked up from where he left off before the world cup, scoring goals for fun and endearing himself to the clubs fans.
Gyanââ¬â¢s fame continues to sky with high demands for his replica jerseys.
Gyan joined Al Ain in the UAE Pro-League on loan for 2011/2012 season and became the leagueââ¬â¢s top-goal scorer netting 24 times in 27 outings.
The Ghana skipper made his move permanent the following season.
Last season, Gyan scored 40 goals in 44 games and scored two goals at the just ended World Cup in Brazil to become Africaââ¬â¢s highest scorer in the history of the tournament.
