Malawi coach consults Renard Herve ahead Ghana clash

Malawi coach Kinnah Phiri has sought help from Renard Herve to defeat Ghana in next month's 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final round first leg qualifier.

Phiri flew to Lusaka over the weekend to get some tips from Zambia's coach who beat the Black Stars in June in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The Frenchman also beat Ghana 1-0 in the semi-final of the 2012 Nations Cup finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

"I had a good trip to Zambia but I do not want to go into details," Phiri told SuperSport.com

"All I can say is that our preparations are going one fine. We have been joined in camp by Dave Banda and Moses Chavula who have returned from South Africa. We also expect Chiukepo Msowoya."

Malawi play Ghana in Accra on September 9.
