Malawi remains calm ahead Ghana AFCON qualiifer

Malawi coach Kinnah Phiri says he is not worried about playing Ghana in the 2013 Nations Cup final round qualifier.

The Flames are looking for an opponent to play on next month's FIFA free date ahead of the trip to Accra on September 9.

The Football Association of Malawi is working hard to secure a match that will sharpen the team for the difficult assignment.

Last month, Malawi defeated African champions Zambia in a friendly.

"I am just hoping that things will work out as planned and that we should be able to play a friendly match before we face them," Phiri is quoted by the Nation Newspaper.
