Medeama SC midfielder Malik Akowuah is optimistic about their chances of reaching the Money Zone of the CAF Confederations Cup competition.
The Yellow and Mauves who are making their debut appearance in continental competition must eliminate Zambian side ZESCO United to stand any chance of making it to the group phase.
"We're highly motivated to move forward looking at how things have gone since the start. Management have done things rightly and we are very confident of progress," Akowuah told Accra-based Hot FM.
Akowuah who joined the Tarkwa-based side from AshGold SC in a protracted transfer has been key for Medeama's campaign.
