Man City, Barcelona battle for Arsenal fullback Hector Bellerin

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is chasing Arsenal fullback Hector Bellerin.

El Mundo Deportivo says Guardiola will face fierce competition from his former club Barcelona as they are also keen on capturing the Spanish full back.

City and Barca will both have to stump up a lot of cash to lure the 21-year-old from the Emirates – after he signed a six-and-a-half-year deal at Arsenal last November.

But with money being no issue for the cash-rich clubs, it means that both teams will fight it out to land his signature.

Guardiola will be determined to add the young Spain international to his ranks as he has four full backs who are over the age of 30.

With Gael Clichy (31 years old), Bakary Sagna (34), Alexander Kolarov (31) and Pablo Zabaleta (32) all entering the latter stages of their careers.
