MAN CITY - Guardiola: \"I just think about WBA, not BARCELONA, we need a win now\"

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants a win as soon as possible: despite leading the Premier League table along with Arsenal and Liverpool with 20 points, Citizens are not in a very good form and failed to win any of the last six games played in all the competions.

Ex Guardiola's team, Barcelona, are coming to the Etihad for a top Champions League clash, but the Spanish manager is thinking only on the next rival, WBA, this is why he replied like this when TransferMarketWeb.com asked him if he will think in the UCL match when choosing the starting line-up tomorrow:

"We go game by game, tomorrow is an important game and we have to win as soos as possible."

The former Bayern Munich boss was also asked about captain Vincent Kompany's fitness, since he played just 45 minutes in the EFL Cup derby against Manchester United last Wednesday night:

"Kompany didn't play the second half because he was tired, he's got a contract, he played few games in the last 2 seasons because he gotmany injuries, that's why we always have to carefully value his fitness before every game."

Guardiola was also asked if some people were too quick to consider Man City as the new Premier League champions after their six wins in the first six games, since they are undergoing this little result crisis:

"Quick judgement in football is the same everywhere: it's the same here, in Italy or Spain."
