Ashley Cole is still waiting on new contract talks with Chelsea.
The Mirror says Cole has still not been offered a new deal by Chelsea – despite having just a year left on his contract.
Cole, 32 in December, has no talks scheduled to resolve his situation and sources close to the player have indicated he could be happy to let his contract run down.
He was linked with a sensational move to Manchester United earlier this month.
