Fosu Mensah has been in outstanding form for Manchester United's second side

Ghanaian prodigy Timothy Fosu-Mensah is one of the brightest youngsters at Manchester United and proved it against Everton's Under-21s this week.

The youngster was instrumental in a 3-1 victory for the Reds and his drive, energy and aggression were mightily impressive for someone so inexperienced.

On a night where senior youngsters Sam Johnstone, Jesse Lingard and James Wilson performed well, Fosu-Mensah was the man of the match, according to the Manchester Evening News.

His build for a 17-year-old is staggering, considering how the majority of youngsters still need to fill out in their early 20s, and comparisons to superstars like Paul Pogba have already begun.

Fosu-Mensah will be required to prove himself on more outings at this level, but if his performance against Everton was anything to go by he won't be an Under-21 for long.
