Manchester City midfielder to reject Inter move

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is expected to reject a move to Inter as he intends to remain in the English Premier League.

The 33-year-old Ivory Coast international has been linked with the Nerazzurri in the past and Biscione coach Roberto Mancini would like to coach the player again after his stint with the Citizens, but the midfielder is keen to stay in England.

According to the Manchester Evening Press, Toure has rejected a couple of offers to play in China and he is not interested in a transfer to Inter even if they formally make an offer.

The midfielder reportedly wants to play under new Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who previously trained Toure for two seasons when the Ivorian played for Barcelona from 2007 to 2010.

Toure has scored 54 goals in 192 Premier League matches since 2010, including six goals in 29 games in 2015-16.
