Manchester United set to break £500m barrier

Published on: 11 February 2016

Despite another uninspiring season under Louis van Gaal, Manchetser United remain set to be the first British club to earn more than £500m in one year.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward commented, 'Our solid results off the pitch help contribute to what remains our number one priority - success on the pitch.'

However, revenues may take a hit if United are not successful in qualifying for next seasons Champions League and the Red Devils currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, one spot below the last Champions League qualification spot.
