Mancini: Inter must roll up their sleeves and move on

Inter coach Roberto Mancini has insisted that his side must move on following their 3-0 defeat to AC Milan on Sunday night.

The second Derby della Madonnina saw the Rossoneri claim a clean sheet and Inter lose by a three-goal cushion for the second time in a row.

“We clearly played better in the opening half hour, then the game was open until the penalty and then at 2-0 it was clearly over,” Mancini told Rai Sport after the game.

“It’s a delicate time, there is no doubt about that.

“We are not brilliant, we are struggling to score and we are conceding too much, but we can not do anything apart from roll up our sleeves and try to do more.”

Mancini was sent to the stands by the referee during the match and was later spotted making an apparent rude gesture to the Diavolo fans.

“I was insulted by the Milan fans, I do not think it’s fair,” Mancini said in response.

Inter are currently fourth in the Serie A table after the loss.
