Teenage defender Marco Friedl was handed his competitive Bayern Munich debut in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League group match with Anderlecht.
Friedl started at left-back in Brussels, lining up alongside established first-team defenders Niklas Süle, Jerome Boateng and Joshua Kimmich.
The 19-year-old was named on the substitutes' bench in five of Bayern's opening six league games this season, but had yet to make an appearance for the first team prior to the midweek clash at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
Marco #Friedl makes his #FCBayern debut this evening - and on a @ChampionsLeague stage too!
