Marseille are looking to sign Ghana winger Frank Acheampong as Andre Ayew’s replacement.

According to Belgian news outlet Voetbal Nieuws, Anderlecht have lined up the 21-year-old as direct replacement for the departing Ghana winger.

Andre Ayew is expected to leave the Stade Velodrome at the end of the season after spending eight years at the club.

The 25-year-old has become a matter of intense bidding from many European stellar clubs including AS Roma, Napoli and English trio Newcastle, Everton and Swansea.

Marseille are thus keeping tabs on the youngster who is seen as a direct carbon copy of his compatriot with his speed and technique.

Acheampong has scored two goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances for the Jupiler League this term and seen as the indisputable replacement for the second son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele.
