Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew has no problem with sending off against Lyon

Andre Ayew has no qualms with referee Lionel Jaffredo for sending him off in their 1-0 defeat at Lyon.

The Marseille talisman received a yellow card during the game at the Stade Gerland, ruling him out of the clash against PSG.

The 24-year-old says he respects the decision of the centre referee following raging debate over the card.

“It would have preferred to see two yellow so I could play in the next game but it’s decision of the referee and I respect that,”he said

“I requested for clarification from him and I’m okay.”

Marseille are leading the Ligue 1 log with 25 points, four clear points ahead of second-placed PSG.
