Marseille president Vincent Labrune confident of Andre Ayew swift return

Marseille president Vincent Labrune is eagerly awaiting the return of Andre Ayew from injury.

The Ghanaian international has not been involved since he suffered an injury while on international duty in November last year.

The 23-year-old suffered the injury while playing for the Black Stars in a 2014 World Cup play-off against Egypt.

And has since been recuperating in his native country but Marseille boss Vincent Labrune says he can’t wait for the return of one of the important element in the squad.

”There is a big gap between us and the top three. But it isn’t too big that we can’t make it up,” Labrune said

“Especially as we know Mathieu Valbuena and André Ayew will soon be back.”

The French side have struggled without their steamroller this term and currently trail leaders PSG by staggering 15 points after 19 games.
