Olympique Marseille are reported to have rejected an offer of €8m plus Goran Pandev from Napoli for Ghana forward Andre Ayew.

The French giants have declared the 24-year-old who is currently preparing with the Black Stars team for the 2014 World Cup not for sale.

New Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa also considers the Ghana international an integral part of the team he intends to build to challenge for the Ligue 1 title next season.

Napoli have been linked with a move for Andre Ayew for some time now and had an earlier reported offer turned down by Marseille.

The Italian club hoped to seal a deal this term with an improved offer which includes Goran Pandev who is valued at €4m.

But Marseille rejected the new offer flatly, re-emphasizing the importance of the Ghanaian to their bid to mount a serious challenge to the league title next season.
